The new City Museum is a great little building. It is open to the public and has been hosting a few temporary exhibitions as part of the Arts Festival. However, its proper, permanent exhibits won't be available until November by which time, it seems, we may have to pay for entrance.
Anyway, the main highlight of the building is the view from many of the windows and it is nice to see the seats/benches placed appropriately to survey the Claddagh, the river and other parts of the city.
